Quick Tips
Quick tip #2
When jigging with a spoon and minnow combination, if the bite is slow try switching from one large minnow to one ore more pinhead size minnows. Because smaller minnows fall off the hook much easier, use a small piece of a soft plastic to hold the minnow on the your hook.
A small piece slid over the barb will stop the minnow from passing back over the barb and escaping. The soft plastic will not interfere with a good hook up, and the added scent is always a bonus.
Quick Tip #1
I just watched another fisherman looking to get hurt!
He was holding a big fish up for a photo with the lure still in it's mouth!
One treble hook in it's mouth, the other one a foot away from this guys head!
NOW IMAGINE......the fish goes crazy and now you have a hook stuck in your hand, arm or maybe even your face!
NOW IMAGINE......the fish flailing uncontrollably with the hook stuck in you!!!
My tip is simple....take the hook out before you take a photo!!
