"THERE'S ONE" !!! We've been saying that since we first started fishing together back in '92 and we've been saying it a lot since. That was the first year Perry fished a Muskoka lake in fact. We were on Lake of Bays chasing Small Mouth bass on the Opener. His 21" Smallie set the hook on his addiction to fishing in Muskoka. Mark was hooked in much the same way back in '84. We now have a combined total of over 40 years experience fishing this region.
Those first few years were spent chasing bass in the summer and lake trout in the winter. We have since added the other species that this great area can offer. Walleye, Pike, Crappies, Splake, Speckles, Perch and more. Enough to keep any Angler in their glory for all 12 months of the year.
We are both lucky enough to reside in Muskoka with our understanding ladies. Perry and Carol in Bala and Mark and Sue in Utterson.
We both grew up in Southern Ontario and have fished all over this great province. We teamed up for several years fishing bass tournaments and accumulated several top 10 finishes. However, some of our most memorable trips have been to small "back lakes" where the bass are big and the crowds are, well, there aren't any.
With ice and river fishing, lake and pond fishing, we have fished over 50 lakes in the Muskoka region. With many new lakes yet to be discovered and enough old favorites to return to...the adventures will continue for years to come.
